I’m a person before anything else. I’m easygoing, artistic, and a very hard worker with unique experiences. I am too learning this beautiful thing called life. I care about people and I want the best for others. If I can tell a story or write an article that inspires someone else to heal, love, forgive, explore, teach, learn, love life, and get back to the things that make them happy! Then— I’ve done something that will give my life much more meaning.
This blog is about all the things above plus much more. There are so many wonderfully interesting things to write about—but inspiration, productivity, writing, creativity, growth, music, things that make us all laugh—
BREAKING THROUGH THE CHALLENGES, BUILDING CHARACTER, AND ENJOYING LIFE
Now that’s what this blog is about. So enjoy and be fulfilled.

I’m from Houston, Texas and that’s where I grew up. As a child I was an accomplished writer of short stories and poetry. As an adolescent I began writing plays as my love for theater arts progressed. But in all my various forms of writing, it was my genuine love for stories and encouraging others that inspired my work.
In the summer of 2007, I became inspired to write a life-changing story; a story to spark a movement. I wanted to write a story about a special character who endured the challenges that are often—kept secret—within many communities. I imagined the intriguing and loveable character.
I visualized how the story of his life could help someone else.
The story began to manifest in my spirit and it did not take long for me to realize that I was meant to write a novel. It was the summer after my freshman year of college, at the tender age of 18, when I began writing my first novel—Smiles on a Berry. The heroic story is powerful as it reveals the courage of a child. Smiles on a Berry is the story that needs to be told and I fully released the story in 2012.
I had several interests in college that included my consistent work on the popular Austin music show, ATX Most Wanted, where I received the award for Newcomer of the Year. In addition, I began writing feature articles for The Daily Texan, on behalf of the hit show, which showcased my talent for music journalism.
After almost two years of dedication I became the Associate Producer. It was then after my superb experience with the show when I began to focus on my spiritual connection and journey as a young author.
I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2010 and received a Bachelor’s degree. I also completed a certification in Social Entrepreneurship from the Bridging Disciplines Programs at The University of Texas at Austin; fall 2011.
I am currently working on my second book and details will be revealed as time progresses.
This is my personal blog: written and edited by me.
